How is Compassion connected to results?

EVERYTHING in leadership starts with Compassion:

  • Building Trust

  • Creating a Safe Environment

  • Giving Consistent & Constructive Feedback

  • Fostering Healthy Conflict

  • Accountability

  • Clear and Transparent Communication

When you build Compassion into your daily operations and decision-making, you engage your employees. When your employees WANT to come to work and are excited to create new opportunities for the company, that impacts your results. When employees are aligned on values and the company’s purpose and don’t get bogged down in energy-sucking drama, it impacts your results.

When a leader’s mindset focuses on the success of employees rather than their own, it impacts results.

Compassion = Results

This is all about sharpening your leadership skills to help your employees, which creates a really great work environment, and yes, impacts results. It all starts with you.

How are YOU? How kind and Compassionate are you being to Yourself?

Many leaders I’ve worked with, particularly C-Suite leaders, are very hard on themselves. Often they put company responsibilities before their personal lives, which may result in guilt, stress, self-criticism and burnout.

There is no need to live that way. You deserve to create a fulfilling life, both professionally and personally.

Sometimes C-suite roles are modeled to incoming leaders with early mornings, late nights, working weekends and vacations. In other words, zero time for family, friends, and self. Ironically, those are the things that re-charge your soul and creativity, which is better for your teams, your company, your loved ones, and YOU.

A compassionate mindset can be learned. There has been a lot of research to show the benefits of compassion on overall wellness, which is our ultimate goal here. Remember that wellness translates to results in your professional and personal life.

How Will I Help You?

I will help you create a life you’re proud of, both in and out of the office. We’ll work together to determine what’s going well with your teams and where the gaps are. We’ll talk about how cohesive your team is, the level of trust that exists, your communication style, and how compassionate you are to yourself and your teams. We’ll dig into strategies that will target all the areas you want to evolve and we’ll set a plan in motion to get there.

I’m your “Let’s Go!” partner in this. I’ll help you consider different perspectives and if you’re committed to doing the work, you’ll see big changes in how people see you as a leader, and how that translates to performance and results.
